Caleb is overenthusiastic about everything that interests him. This enthusiasm never waivers and he honestly puts his ideals before himself and monetary gain. He’s not a materialist person at all, and often shares everything he owns. This is good and bad in a way, as he tends to give everything with value to everyone else and forget who he leant it out to. He also tends to take other people’s things with out realizing that he needs to ask He has the mentality that if he does not have it, he does not need it, and will find another way to make things work.
He is a third generation ‘free thinker’, and though he’s spent most of his teenage years away from the commune, he’s still an activist that wants to see the world be a better place. He’s very vocal against the Dark Lord, and will follow those he thinks is ‘right’ to the end of the earth. . He’s horribly naïve, and very black and white. Which is not something you would expect considering that his upbringing centered around sex, openness and acceptance. He does have a casual acceptance of sex, and is comfortable enough in his body that he has no problem walking around naked. But, he is a complete activist, and it takes very little for him to find some sort of injustice or hopeless cause to try and fix. He really does it to help everyone else.
Caleb is horribly stubborn, passive and patient. Which means you can spend hours trying to convert him, and he’ll quietly tell you why your way won’t work for him. He’s also very diplomatic in the right circumstances. [When someone hasn’t insulted something that he holds dear, that is.] He is a typical Hufflepuff, and is always trying to make sure everyone is happy. He’s empathetic and tends to feel the emotions of others if they are feeling something very strong. It is not like their emotions are overlaid on top of his, but instead he can feel the nagging feeling in the back of his mind and ghost pain. It is enough that it causes him headaches by the end of the day. That is partially why he turns to drugs so much - it gets grating on the nerves.

Caleb doesn’t know who his Father is, or even if his Mother knows who his Father is. But that has never worried him, his mother loved him enough for two parents, and all the other males at the commune were his ‘uncles’.
